Our Story
Japan's finest golf, opened to the world.
Japan's finest golf, opened to the world.
Elite Golf Japan was founded in 2026 by Toshihito Okamichi, who brings 14 years of experience with the PGM Group, one of Japan's largest golf course operators.
An avid golfer himself, Okamichi still plays around 60 rounds a year across Japan. Yet even with that level of exposure to the country's golf scene, he rarely encounters international players on the course.
Japan is home to more than 2,000 golf courses, many maintained to exceptional standards, yet the vast majority remain largely undiscovered by golfers from overseas.
Elite Golf Japan was created to bridge that gap.
Through direct relationships with golf courses, dedicated English-language support throughout the booking journey, and a licensed travel arrangement business managing the logistics behind each reservation, Elite Golf Japan makes accessing Japan's golf courses simple and seamless.
Operating under Japan's official Travel Service Arrangement Business registration — Tokyo Governor Registration No. 21028 — and with direct relationships across 37 partner courses in 15 prefectures, Elite Golf Japan offers international golfers a trusted and effortless way to experience golf in Japan.
Founder & CEO
Toshihito Okamichi brings more than two decades of experience spanning Japan's golf and corporate sectors.
He spent 14 years with the PGM Group, one of Japan's largest golf course operators, where he worked closely with affluent golfers and corporate clients as an area manager, building an extensive network across the country.
He later joined M&A Cloud Inc., where he spent eight years and ultimately served as Executive Officer and Head of the CEO's Office.
In February 2026, he founded Elite Golf & Culture Inc., bringing together his deep knowledge of Japan's golf industry, extensive business network and first-hand understanding of the domestic golf market.
An avid golfer who still plays around 60 rounds a year, Okamichi saw a clear opportunity to make Japan's exceptional golf experiences more accessible to international players — a vision that led to the creation of Elite Golf Japan.
