Golf in Japan, Answered

The questions international golfers ask us most, before their first round in Japan.

Can foreign visitors play golf at Japan’s top courses?

Yes. Many of Japan’s prestigious courses are members-only, but Elite Golf Japan holds direct partnerships with 36 courses across 14 prefectures, so international visitors can play without a membership or member introduction. We arrange the booking, guest paperwork, rental clubs, and caddies; an English-speaking on-course host and airport transfers are available on request.

Green fees are separate, paid at the course on the day, and typically run from about ¥10,000 to ¥30,000 per round depending on the course and whether you play on a weekday or weekend.
