Chiba Yomiuri Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Ichihara, Chiba, designed by Abe Tsuneo and opened in 1978. The course plays 6,142 yards in total, with a back-tee yardage of 6,491. Access is via the Kominato Railway's Kazusa-Ushiku Station, from which the club runs a shuttle bus; a separate shuttle connection from Goi Station was discontinued in March 2025, so golfers relying on rail should plan around the Kazusa-Ushiku route. Drivers can reach the course from the Ken-O Expressway's Ichihara-Tsurumai IC. Opened the same year as several other Chiba hilly-terrain courses, Chiba Yomiuri Country Club reflects the region's late-1970s wave of course development, when hilly land east of Tokyo was widely developed for golf. The course remains a full 18-hole, par-72 layout for golfers visiting the Ichihara area.
