Fuji Golf Course occupies hilly ground in Yamanakako, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture, at 262-1 Yamanaka. The 18-hole, par-72 layout plays 6,419 yards from the regular tees and 6,792 yards from the back tees, and was designed by architect Kazue Akashi. It opened in 1935, making it one of the older golf courses in the Fuji Five Lakes area. The club is close to the Higashi-Fuji-Goko Road, about 5 km and a 10-minute drive from Yamanakako IC. Caddie service is optional, and the course uses two-seat riding carts; when playing self-caddie style, carts are permitted onto the fairways. Weekday green fees start from 13,900 yen. With its long history near Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka, the course draws golfers looking to combine a round with the surrounding Fuji Five Lakes scenery and access roads.
