Hakodate Seaside Country Club is an 18-hole course on hilly terrain in Hakodate, on Hokkaido's southern coast. It opened in 1975 and was designed by Akira Sato and Koji Yamazaki, placing it among the courses built during Hokkaido golf's expansion through the 1970s. The club is located at Toyohara-cho 237 in Hakodate city, within reach of the port city's harbor and downtown districts for golfers combining a round with sightseeing. The hilly routing sets it apart from flatter layouts found elsewhere on the island. Par, total yardage, green fees, caddy availability, and cart arrangements are not published and should be confirmed directly with the club before a visit. As a course approaching its fiftieth anniversary, Hakodate Seaside offers golfers the chance to play a design from an earlier era of Hokkaido golf development.
