Higashi-Chiba Country Club is a 36-hole woodland course in Togane, Chiba Prefecture, designed by Toshio Suzuki and opened in 1977. The layout is split into two 18-hole courses that together play to a par of 144, set among wooded terrain typical of the inland Boso Peninsula. Caddies are optional, giving golfers the choice between a caddied round or a self-guided one, and the club runs self-driving five-seat riding carts across both courses. After the round, players can use the on-site bath facility. The club is reached from JR Sotobo Line's Oami Station, about 20 minutes away by car, and sits close to the Chiba Togane Road and Ken-O Expressway's Togane Interchange, roughly 2 kilometers from the clubhouse. That combination of expressway access and nearly five decades of operating history makes Higashi-Chiba Country Club a long-standing fixture among the woodland courses clustered around Togane.
