Izu Taini Country Club is a 27-hole, par-108 hilly course in Izunokuni, Shizuoka Prefecture, with a combined yardage of 10,354 yards across its three nine-hole loops. It opened in 1976 and was designed by Ichisuke Izumi. The course occupies hilly terrain on the Izu peninsula, reached via the Izu Chuo Doro at Ohito Chuo IC or via the Izu Skyline at Kameishi IC. By train, the nearest station is Izu Hakone Railway's Takyo Station, about 20 minutes from JR Mishima Station. Caddies are optional here, giving golfers the choice of a caddied round or a self-navigated one, and carts use an electromagnetic induction guidance system that keeps them on a fixed path around the course. With three separate nines, the club can host varied 18-hole combinations, and its hilly Izu setting places it among courses that make use of the peninsula's elevation rather than flat coastal ground.
