Kannami Golf Club

Kannami Golf Club is a 36-hole complex in Kannami-cho, Tagata District, Shizuoka Prefecture, made up of two 18-hole courses that combine for a par of 144 and a total yardage of 12,585. The club opened in 1971 and sits on hilly terrain in the hills toward the Izu Peninsula side of the Shizuoka-Kanagawa border. Access by car runs via the Hakone Shindo expressway's Hakone-toge interchange, about 18 kilometers away, or the Tomei Expressway's Numazu interchange, roughly 25 kilometers away; by train, the nearest options are the Izuhakone Railway Sunzu Line toward Tagyo or Izunagaoka stations, or a roughly 15-minute taxi ride from JR Kannami Station. The club provides riding carts and offers caddy service on an optional basis, so golfers can choose a self-play or caddied round. An onsen bath is available on site after the round, drawing on the hot-spring water common to this part of the Izu region.
