Kazusa Monarch Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course set on hilly terrain in Kimitsu, Chiba Prefecture. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1984, the course plays to a total yardage of 7,056 from the back tees. Riding carts are five-seat models fitted with remote controls, and caddy service is optional, letting groups choose a self-drive or caddied round. The course sits in Kimitsu, roughly 20 to 25 minutes from the Ken-O Expressway's Kisarazu Higashi interchange, or about 35 to 40 minutes from the Tateyama Expressway's Anesaki-Sodegaura interchange, making it accessible from both the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line corridor and central Chiba. As a Nicklaus design from the mid-1980s, the layout reflects the hilly topography typical of the Boso Peninsula golf belt around Kimitsu, an area with a concentration of courses built during Japan's golf course expansion of that decade.
