Kii no Kuni Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Momoyama-cho, Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture, opened in 1973 and designed by Fumisawa Masasuke. The course is one of two at the club and plays to a back-tee yardage of 6,341 yards over its rolling terrain. Access is by taxi from Kishi Station on the Nankai Kishigawa Line, about 15 minutes away, or by car via the Kinokawa Expressway's Iwade-Negoro or Kinokawa interchanges, or the Hanwa Expressway's Kainan interchange, each roughly 15 to 20 kilometers from the course. The clubhouse has a bath for golfers to use after their round. With more than five decades of history since its 1973 opening, Kii no Kuni Country Club is a longstanding hilly-course option in the Kinokawa area of Wakayama, suited to golfers who want a layout shaped by the surrounding hills.
