Kimitsu Kogihara Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Kogihara, Kimitsu City, on the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. It plays to 6,420 yards and was designed by Tomekichi Miyamoto, opening in 1987. The club runs riding carts fitted with cart navigation systems, and caddy service is optional, so groups can choose a self-navigated round or add a caddy on request. The course sits inland from Tokyo Bay in the hills of southern Chiba. By car, it is reached from Kimitsu IC on the Tateyama Expressway, about 25km away and roughly a 45-minute drive. Travelers without a car can reach the area via JR Sotobo Line to Awa-Kamogawa Station, followed by a 15-to-20-minute taxi ride to the clubhouse. The combination of a coastal-region Chiba setting with cart navigation and optional caddy support makes it a straightforward stop for visiting golfers touring the Boso Peninsula.
