Kuchiki Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Takashima, Shiga, opened in 1972. It is one of two courses operated at the facility. The club sits in the hills near Kutsuki, reached by taxi in about 20 minutes from JR Adogawa Station on the Kosei Line, or by car via the Kyoto-higashi interchange on the Meishin Expressway, roughly 31 kilometers away, or the Mano interchange on the Kosei Road. Carts are electromagnetic-guided, and caddy service is not offered, so rounds are played carts-only. The clubhouse has an onsen bath, giving visitors a place to unwind after a round on the hilly terrain. Opened more than five decades ago in 1972, Kuchiki has built a long operating history in the Takashima area of Shiga, and its position as one of a two-course facility gives golfers based there the option of a second round on site.
