The Satsuma and Hyuga nines were designed by Shoichi Suzuki, while the Higo nine was laid out by Toshihito Ebihara. The club opened in 1973 and has operated as a hilly-terrain course ever since. Golfers reach the course via the Kuma River Railway's Ichibu Station or by car from Hitoyoshi Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway. Play is self-drive on riding carts, with caddies available on an optional basis. Weekday green fees start from 7,600 yen and weekend fees from 12,800 yen. The club does not offer an onsen or bath facility on site. With three separate nines to combine, visitors can play different 18-hole routings on repeat trips.
