Kuman Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Kumakogen, Ehime Prefecture, playing at 5,692 yards over hilly terrain. Designed by Yasohachi Fukui and opened in 1974, it is one of two courses operated at the club. The layout sits in the mountainous Kuma highlands of Kamiukena District, an area known for its elevation and cooler summer climate relative to the Matsuyama plain. Golfers without a car can reach the club by taking a bus bound for Kuma or Ochide from JR Matsuyama Station, a ride of about 60 minutes, and getting off at the Nakagumi stop for a further 5-minute walk. Drivers can take the Matsuyama Expressway to Matsuyama Interchange, about 30 minutes from the club by car. At under 5,700 yards, the course plays shorter than many modern layouts, a function of its hilly routing through the highlands rather than a broad, flat site.
