Kyowa Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course on hilly terrain, designed by Yoshio Asakawa and opened in 1974. The layout plays to 6,635 yards from the back tees. Golfers use self-drive, five-seat carts, with fairway entry available for an extra fee, and there is no caddy service. The clubhouse has an on-site bath. By car, the course sits roughly 25 kilometers from the Meishin Expressway's Seta-nishi Interchange; some visitors instead approach via the Keiji Bypass, exiting at Kasatori Interchange, about a 30-minute drive from there. The hilly setting and mid-1970s opening place Kyowa among the established courses of the wider Kyoto-Shiga region, with a full 6,635-yard test suited to golfers who want a self-paced round without a caddy on the bag.
