Murasaki Country Club Sumire Course is the second of two 18-hole, par-72 layouts at Murasaki Country Club in Noda, Chiba, opened in 1961, two years after the club's Ayame Course. From the back tees the course plays 7,378 yards, a longer test than its sister layout. The club renewed its cart fleet in October 2009, introducing GPS-equipped carts across the course, and caddy service is available on an optional basis. The course is located at 111 Mebuki, Noda City, and is reached from Nodashi Station on the Tobu Noda Line, either by club bus in about 25 minutes or by taxi in roughly 10 minutes. Set in woodland terrain like its sister course, Sumire gives golfers visiting Murasaki Country Club a longer yardage option alongside the club's Ayame Course, both operating under the same Noda address.
