Nishi-Nasushio Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 highland course in Nasushiobara, Tochigi, co-designed by Robert Von Hagge and Michael J. Smelek. The back tees measure 7,036 yards across highland terrain in the Nasu area. Caddies are optional for a round here. The club shares its access points with its Nasushiobara neighbors: a club bus runs from JR Nasushiobara Station (about 20 minutes, reservation required), and drivers can reach the course via the Tohoku Expressway's Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC, about 4 kilometers away. An onsen bath is available on site, drawing on the natural hot springs of the Nasu region. With two designers behind the routing and a longer back-tee yardage than several neighboring clubs, it is one of the more demanding highland layouts in the area for golfers visiting Tochigi.
