Ogura Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in the Kokura Minami ward of Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture. Designed by Ueda Osamu and opened in 1961, the course plays 6,872 yards from the back tees over hilly terrain. Caddy service is required for all rounds, and golfers ride in carts equipped with an onboard course navigation system. A bathing facility is available on site after the round. Green fees start at 18,300 yen on weekdays and 23,300 yen on weekends. The club is reached by taxi, roughly eight minutes from Shimosone Station on the JR Nippo Line, or by car via the Kokura Higashi Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway. With more than six decades of history since its 1961 opening, Ogura Country Club is one of the longer-established clubs in the Kitakyushu area, combining a full-length par-72 layout with required caddy service and on-course navigation carts.
