Ohara Oishuku Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Isumi, Chiba Prefecture, designed by architect Seiichi Inoue and opened in 1982. The layout plays to 6,862 yards from the back tees across hilly terrain, one of the longer courses among Chiba's Boso Peninsula golf properties. There is no caddy service; golfers use GPS-navigation riding carts that are permitted onto the fairways, allowing carts to be driven directly alongside play rather than restricted to cart paths. The course is reached from JR Sotobo Line's Ohara Station, about a 10-minute taxi ride costing roughly 2,800 yen, or by car via the Chiba-Togane Road's Togane Interchange, around 50 kilometers and 45 minutes away. Seiichi Inoue, one of postwar Japan's most prolific golf course architects, designed Ohara Oishuku Golf Course during the early 1980s expansion of golf development along the Boso Peninsula, and its hilly, 6,862-yard routing reflects the longer, more strategic style associated with his work.
