Oita Country Club's Tsukigata Course is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Oita City, Oita, opened in 1974 and co-designed by Sukemasa Shimamura and Kazuo Shibata. The back tees play to 7,177 yards, making it noticeably longer than the club's other 18-hole layout, the Yoshino Course. Located in the Tsukigata area of Oita City, the course sits roughly 30 minutes by car from JR Oita Station on the Nippo Main Line. By road, it is reached from the Mera Interchange on the Oita Expressway, about 10 kilometers away via Route 10, a drive of roughly 20 minutes. Opened four years after the Yoshino Course, the Tsukigata layout is the second of the two courses that make up Oita Country Club, giving golfers a choice between two hilly par-72 tracks at the same facility.
