Oita Country Club's Yoshino Course is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Oita City, Oita, opened in 1970 and designed by Kazuo Shigeta. It is one of two courses at the Oita Country Club facility, with the back tees measuring 6,626 yards. The hilly terrain sits in the Hagio area of Oita City, roughly 30 minutes by car from JR Oita Station on the Nippo Main Line. By road, the course is reached from the Mera Interchange on the Oita Expressway, about 8 kilometers away via Route 10. Opened more than five decades ago, the Yoshino Course predates its sister layout, the Tsukigata Course, by four years, giving the club a long-established presence in the Oita area. Golfers arriving by car have a direct expressway connection, while those without a car can reach the club from Oita Station by taxi or arranged transport in about half an hour.
