Ota-gawa Golf Course Out Course is the companion 9-hole, par-32 layout to the In Course, sharing the same Higashihara address in Hiroshima's Asaminami Ward. Also opened in 1961 and designed by Taiji Hasegawa, the Out Course plays along the Ota River and measures 2,027 yards from the back tees, slightly longer than its In Course counterpart. Golfers can play the Out Course on its own or combine it with the In Course for a full 18 holes across the two riverside nines. The facility is about a 20-minute drive from JR Hiroshima Station and roughly 5 kilometers from Hiroshima Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway, putting it within easy reach of central Hiroshima. Having operated since 1961, the Out Course forms half of one of the city's longer-running riverside golf facilities.
