The course plays 6,690 yards and was designed by architect Ryuji Kagami, opening in 1975. Access to the club is by car: it sits about 45 minutes from JR Takamatsu Station and roughly 30 minutes from Takamatsu Chuo Interchange, making a private vehicle or taxi the practical way to reach the course from central Takamatsu or the expressway network. At 6,690 yards for a par-72 layout, the course offers a mid-length test across its hilly terrain. Having opened in 1975, Royal Takamatsu Country Club is among the longer-established golf facilities in Kagawa Prefecture, with more than five decades of history on the same hillside site in Ayagawa-cho.
