Ryugasaki Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course in Ryūgasaki, Ibaraki Prefecture, designed by Seiichi Inoue and opened in 1958. The back tees stretch to 7,047 yards. Inoue, one of postwar Japan's most prolific golf course architects, laid out the course more than six decades ago, making it one of the older woodland designs in the Ibaraki area. The club is reachable from JR Jōban Line's Ryūgasaki-shi Station via a club bus of about 20 minutes from the east exit, or by car from the Ken-O Expressway's Ami-Higashi IC, about 5.8 kilometers and 11 minutes away, with the Ushiku-Ami IC as an alternative around 10 kilometers out. Its location places it within the cluster of golf courses that developed around Ryūgasaki in the decades following the club's opening. For golfers researching Ibaraki's classic-era courses, Ryugasaki Country Club represents an Inoue-designed layout dating to the late 1950s, distinct from the newer courses built in the same city since.
