Sandou Country Club

Sandou Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in the hilly terrain of Asago, Hyogo Prefecture. Opened in 1977 and designed by Teikichi Mano and Hisashi Morioka, the course plays to 6,902 yards from the back tees. Self-play rounds use electromagnetic-guided carts that seat five players, and caddy service is available on an optional basis for groups who prefer it. The course sits roughly two kilometers from both the Kita-Kinki Toyooka Expressway's Santo Interchange and the Banshu Renraku Road's Wada-yama Interchange, each about a three-minute drive from the gate, making it a straightforward stop for golfers driving through the region. Rail access runs through JR Wada-yama Station on the San'in Main Line. Green fees start at 8,500 yen on weekdays and 12,700 yen on weekends. There is no bath or onsen facility on site, so players plan to shower or soak elsewhere after the round. The combination of hilly routing and dual expressway access makes Sandou a workable option for visitors building a Kansai golf itinerary around Asago.
