Sano Golf Club is a 36-hole hilly complex in Sano, Tochigi, made up of two 18-hole courses that together play to a combined par of 144. The layout was designed by Mitsuaki Kobayashi and opened in 1974. The club is reached in about 20 minutes by taxi from either JR Ryomo Line's Sano Station or Tobu Isesaki Line's Ashikaga Station, and it sits roughly 6 km from the Kitakanto Expressway's Sano-Tanuma interchange. Caddy service is optional, and rounds are played on on-board carts; air-conditioned "evaCOOL" carts are scheduled for introduction from May 2026. An on-site bath is available after the round, making the club a straightforward stop for golfers touring the northern Kanto area with two full 18-hole loops on one site.
