The Tradition Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course set on hilly terrain in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course opened in 2002 and plays to 7,067 yards from the back tees. The layout follows the natural contours of the surrounding hills, a hallmark of Nicklaus's course design work in Japan during this period. Golfers reach the club by taxi from Higashi-Okazaki Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line, a trip of roughly 20 minutes, or by car via the Tomei Expressway's Okazaki Interchange, about 10 minutes away. Caddie service is optional, and rounds are played in navigation-equipped riding carts that seat up to five. Weekday green fees start from ¥15,430, rising to ¥21,480 on weekends. As one of the newer designs covered here, opening in 2002, it offers a modern hilly-course test within reach of central Aichi.
