Tomioka Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Tomioka, Gunma Prefecture, opened in 1989. It was designed by Larry Nelson and Hirochika Tomizawa. The course measures 7,000 yards in total, with a recorded back-tee yardage of 6,510 yards. Access is from JR Takasaki Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen line, about 20 minutes away by taxi, with a club bus also available; by car, the course is roughly 10 kilometers (about 20 minutes) from Tomioka Interchange on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. Carts are self-drive electric models. Green fees start at ¥10,400 on weekdays and ¥15,700 on weekends, making it one of the more affordable hilly courses in the prefecture. No caddie or onsen bath service is on record for the club.
