Yashiro Golf Club

Yashiro Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course in Makino, Kato, Hyogo Prefecture, designed by Kato Shunsuke and opened in 1993. The course plays to a total yardage of 6,101 yards through the wooded terrain that gives it its woodland classification, set in the Azukidani area of the city. Golfers arriving by car can reach the club via the Takino-Yashiro Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, making it accessible directly from the expressway network without additional local roads. As a 1990s-built woodland course, Yashiro Golf Club represents the later phase of course development in the Kato area of Hyogo, when tree-lined layouts were favored over the open highland designs common in earlier decades. The 6,101-yard routing over par 72 gives it a moderate length by regional standards, suited to golfers who want a full 18-hole round through wooded terrain without the additional length found at some newer resort-style courses.
