Yokohama Country Club is a 36-hole, par-144 hilly course in Yokohama, Kanagawa, that opened in 1960. The original two courses were laid out by Takeo Aiyama and Hideo Takemura. The East Course was renovated by Kentaro Sato in 2000, and the West Course, along with holes 17 and 18 of the East Course, was redesigned by Coore & Crenshaw between 2014 and 2016. The East Course is played with riding carts, while the West Course is walked, with a caddy assigned to every group; caddy service is required club-wide. The club is reached by a club bus of about 8 minutes from Higashi-Totsuka Station on the JR Yokosuka Line, at 1025 Imai-cho, Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama. With more than six decades of continuous operation and a mix of original routing and modern Coore & Crenshaw work, the club is among the older established clubs in the Kanto region.
